CIAD has developed privileged partnerships with more than 100 production units,
mainly located in Asia. Certain high-grade factories have been assigned as CIAD’s
contract manufacturers.
As CIAD is fully aware that being reactive is a matter of utmost importance to our
clients, we undertake to respect the following deadlines: 48 hours for a quote,
15 days for high quality samples and rapid deliveries of finished goods - within
60 days once final samples have been approved.
• Factory Audits
Working in partnership with independent audit companies, CIAD carries out
pre-qualification audits in new factories before any orders are placed.
When selecting a new supplier, we carefully study the workflow, production process,
and quality control procedures of the factory in order to ensure that it has the
capacity fulfil CIAD’s orders. In addition to this, CIAD is committed to working
with suppliers who undertake to improve working conditions, abstain from
employing child labour and respect other social and environmental regulations.
• QC Procedures
CIAD is committed to delivering products that comply with all relevant EC standards
and other environmental and safety regulations applicable in Europe. Working
with highly reputed laboratories such as SGS, BV, LCIE, we carry out laboratory
tests for each product ordered. The test reports/certificates are presented to
our clients before shipment.
Strictly respecting the AQL quality standard, CIAD makes during production controls
DUPRO) and final inspections for each order so that we can guarantee 100% product
quality and 100% customer satisfaction.
• Supplier Performance Evaluation
Our strategy is to develop long-term partnerships with our manufacturing units.
Our operations depend upon the smooth flow of high quality goods and services
from our suppliers. Therefore, evaluating and understanding the performance of
suppliers is critical to ensuring a well-functioning supply chain and to
promoting CIAD’s own competitive position.
Every month, CIAD’s purchasing department evaluates major suppliers with Key
Performance Indicators such as approval sample development, order delivery,
QC pass rate and laboratory test conformity rates. The aim of this is to improve
the performance level of key suppliers.
